Spending the week in Abq. was so fun, Chris and I were actually able to spend sime time together ALONE without kids it was sooooo nice. I think we get caught up in work and kids, we forget what life is like with just each other. We shopped, and one night rode the Tram to the top of the Sandias Mountain (at night) it was awesome!!! I'm not sure I could do it during the day, it's pretty high! Of course I don't have any pict. I didn't take my camera! We were glad Janie and Lee were so nice to let us stay for soooo long, we owe you big time ! Thanks!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures we MADE the kids take, don't they look thrilled? As you can see Draeden was mad he had to stop playing video games to come take a pict. We were glad AJ was able to come spend Thanksgiving with us too!

Botanical Gardens

We went to the Botanical Gardens, it was so cool. These are some pictures of Chris and I on the Ant, and some of the animals made out of christmas lights. It was FREEZING, but we still had a good time. You wont see any pictures of Luke, he was way to busy with playing with Keaton to take any pictures!

Tatum & Nana

This Thanksgiving was the first time Chris's mom got to see Tatum. It was so sweet, Tatum went right to her and never left her sight for a moment. If Nadra walked away, Tatum would cry, she crawled around saying nananana, it was priceless! I was so greatful she was able to come spend time with us in New Mexico, I hope she had as much fun as we did! Thanks Nadra!

Tatum & the Christmas TREES
Let me start by saying she is a MESS! She is into everything! We put the tree up and she went straight for it! She completely destroyed the train underneath, along with the tree skirt! My moms tree has absolutely no ornaments on the bottom of it, Well it was beautiful for as long as it lasted!

Christmas Tree
I love the Christmas season, and looking at everyones blogs it's made it even better! We put the tree up just after Thanksgiving, Luke insisted we put it up before, but I said he had to wait. But sure enough when we got home he knew it was time for the tree! OH I am going to be posting our Thanksgiving trip to Albuquerque soon! I know better late than never right?

Happy Birthday Luke
Lukes birthday was the 1st and I can't believe he's already 3, wow how time flies! He's such an amazing boy, and I cannot imagine my life without him. He is such a fun loving kid, and he loves Tatum so much and looks forward to her everyday! He spent the day with his cousins riding 4-wheelers and playing trucks (surprising?). Aunt Tracy made the cake, and Aunt Janie and Alex came from Albuquerque, AJ, Chandler, and Mclayne came from Show Low. Thanks to everyone who made his day a great one!

Crash & Burn
We bought Luke a 4-wheeler, a few months ago and he had his first "crash". Chris had taken him to the shop, and he tried to go over one of the big jumps, and tipped over. He got up and got right back on! A bruised back, and scratched his arm. He then went "truckin" with my dad and burned his other arm on the stack. What a day!

New Pict of Tatum
I am making a picture book for Chris's mom of Tatum and these are a few of the pictures I took. She hasn't seen her yet, so I always try to update her as often as possible. We now have a web cam so his parents can see our family. I can't believe she is already 7 mos old!

Chris Back Surgery

Chris hurt his back at work back in November, and had to have surgery in July. He went a total of 9 months with back pain, before the doctor decided to operate. Dr Hales was worried about him having permanent nerve damage because the disc that was bad was at the bottom of his back right next to his spine causing nerves to be pinched. The surgery was a success, and he felt 100% better once it was over, and was up walking 2 hours after. I didn't realize how much he helped me with the kids, and around the house, until he got hurt. So I am SOOOOO glad the surgery went great, and he is better!

Potty Training.....
Luke is 2 and will be 3 in October so I thought maybe if I start now he might be done by 3 1/2 (I heard boys were harder to train) anyway I started about a month ago, and within a week he was done! He's had a total of 3 accidents and has never gone in his bed (Knock on wood)! I was AMAZED how easy he turned out to be. I think it was me more than anything that was dreading the whole process, but it was a success!

Terrible Blogger!
I know I haven't updated for a LONG time, but it's not that we haven't done fun things this summer, it's that I either forget my camera, or the battery is dead! So here are a few things we have done!

Hair Cut
I shaved Lukes head today! I was going to shave it into a Mohawk, but messed one side up (HA HA), so I ended up shaving the his entire head. He looks dang cute though! AND he hates me to cut it normally anyway, I figured this way I don't have to cut it as often. (It makes us both happy)
