4-Wheeling

We seem to be doing this alot lately, but it is soooo much fun! Poor luke gets so muddy, but this week we all got it! Chris had to work so Brittnee Tatum and I rode mine, Nate and Brook were on theirs and Heath and Luke rode his. We had such a blast!

New Pict of Tatum

I am making a picture book for Chris's mom of Tatum and these are a few of the pictures I took. She hasn't seen her yet, so I always try to update her as often as possible. We now have a web cam so his parents can see our family. I can't believe she is already 7 mos old!

Chris Back Surgery

Chris hurt his back at work back in November, and had to have surgery in July. He went a total of 9 months with back pain, before the doctor decided to operate. Dr Hales was worried about him having permanent nerve damage because the disc that was bad was at the bottom of his back right next to his spine causing nerves to be pinched. The surgery was a success, and he felt 100% better once it was over, and was up walking 2 hours after. I didn't realize how much he helped me with the kids, and around the house, until he got hurt. So I am SOOOOO glad the surgery went great, and he is better!

Potty Training.....

Luke is 2 and will be 3 in October so I thought maybe if I start now he might be done by 3 1/2 (I heard boys were harder to train) anyway I started about a month ago, and within a week he was done! He's had a total of 3 accidents and has never gone in his bed (Knock on wood)! I was AMAZED how easy he turned out to be. I think it was me more than anything that was dreading the whole process, but it was a success!

Terrible Blogger!

I know I haven't updated for a LONG time, but it's not that we haven't done fun things this summer, it's that I either forget my camera, or the battery is dead! So here are a few things we have done!

Hair Cut

I shaved Lukes head today! I was going to shave it into a Mohawk, but messed one side up (HA HA), so I ended up shaving the his entire head. He looks dang cute though! AND he hates me to cut it normally anyway, I figured this way I don't have to cut it as often. (It makes us both happy)

Carnival

Chris, and I made the mistake of taking Luke to the carnival out at the Rodeo grounds when it came here the first time. So of course it comes again, but this time it's in the Safeway parking lot, and you cannot avoid it! Anyway, we took him AGAIN and he had a blast. The slide was the favorite, and it wore me out. I had to carry him up the stairs in order to keep the big kids from knocking him down. I dreaded to hear "lets go again mom". I did take the cutest picture of Luke with Chris, and to see the smile on Lukes face was worth every moment there!

4-Wheeling

Chris had the day off so we decided to go ride the 4-wheeler with the cousins (Kim, Amanda, Alan, and Jill) it was so much fun. Chris and I have had our 4-wheeler for a little over a year now, and have never really had time to take it out, so it was fun. We rode up to the trails at Saffle Canyon, it was beautiful at the top. When we got back our faces were covered in dirt, but we still had a blast!

Tatum

Chris gave me a camera for mothers day, so I can hopefully keep up on my blog. I was playing around with it and took the cutest pictures of Tatum. I realized that I hadn't put any really good ones on here of her, so here are a few.....

This Weekend

This weekend Ryan & Mandy came through town. They are going to be living in Phoenix this summer while Ryan works for a Law Firm. We are so excited they will be within driving distance so we can see them, and their kids more! We hung out all day Saturday, and it was also Heath's B-day so it worked out great. The kids rode the 4-wheeler, and rode bikes. It was such a nice day so we deffinetly took advantage of it!

At the Catwalk

This last weekend, we had the girls (Danny's kids) and decided to spend the day at the Catwalk. We had such a fun time. The weather was wonderful, but the water was freezing, but we still had a great time!!!!

Luke

Luke was such a trooper, he made to the top (1 mile) on the way back he was done. He sat and would NOT walk another step, so Chris had to carry him the rest of the way down screaming!
